Free learning, optional paid practice
Acquisition Companion is operated by The Wired Nomad LLC. The public course, Start Here, Topics, Financing, Examples, Quantitative Reference, Glossary, Sources and methodology remain free. Acquisition Companion Deal Lab is an optional educational subscription. The initial paid beta is invite-only for customers in the United States. Operator approval and an explicit U.S.-customer attestation are required before Checkout. Approval alone does not grant Deal Lab access.
Recurring billing
Launch pricing is $19 per month or $190 per year, in USD. The chosen subscription renews at that interval until canceled. Checkout will show the price, billing interval and any applicable tax before purchase. There is one product and no free AI trial.
Cancellation and payment problems
You may cancel recurring billing at any time through Manage billing in your account. Access continues through the already-paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. Unpaid, past-due, canceled or expired subscriptions may lose access; correcting a payment problem can restore access after billing state is verified. Refunds — legal review required
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable after access has been used, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error or have a billing problem, contact support@acquisitioncompanion.com. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Treatment of unused access and service outages must be finalized before launch.
Usage and availability
Includes up to 100 AI requests per UTC calendar month, on either billing interval. Your account shows current usage and remaining requests. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month; it does not roll over. Requests that reach the model count even if a response fails. Access-denied, invalid or quota-denied requests do not consume the allowance. Service and model availability can vary.
Accounts and privacy
Keep your sign-in email secure. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes, work once and are bound to the browser where requested. You can sign out to end your session. Contact support@acquisitioncompanion.com for account security, deletion or access problems. Account deletion does not by itself cancel recurring billing; cancellation and any legally required record retention must be handled together. Retention periods and the deletion procedure remain review items; see Privacy.
Educational use
Deal Lab helps you examine evidence, calculate and practice reasoning. AI may make mistakes. You retain responsibility for decisions; responses do not establish financing approval, investment suitability or transaction-specific legal, tax or accounting advice. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, personal or non-public deal material. There are no private CIM, financial-package or data-room uploads.
